What type of flowers would be the best to get a friend (girl) for her birthday?

Need to get a present for a friend tomorrow, thought flowers might be a good idea, was thinking half a dozen yellow roses?

yellow roses are lovely although a mixed bouquet look livlier

For what a 1/2 dozen roses would cost you can get twice as many flowers in a mixed or wildflower bouquet.
Reply:Try pink or red roses, funny I think yellow flowers mean jealosy or something daft like that. Play it safe lots of different shades of pink and red .

In my opinion I would get her a Lilly or tulips, something different than the norm to show her how much you like her.
