It is my birthday and my Lady friend just bought me flowers~ I am a Man?

It made me feel kinda weird, though it was very nice of her, do you think it is okay for a woman to buy a man roses?~ it made me feel confused?

The world is much equal today: you can buy a digital camera present to your girl friend and she can present you flowers.

Arrange transport. Arrange flowers. Arrange a day out at the best spa you can afford. Arrange for some treatments (hot stone therapy is great for ladies over 50 - so I%26#039;ve been told!) - have a simple but lovely cake ready to be brought out at lunch time and a very nice bottle of wine.

And take along some photographs taken over the years of the family - something to have a giggle over!

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Go there at 5.00pm, queue for 30mins have the dinner than take a stroll over to Changi beach sit at the bench watch the sunset, lie on her lap and let her hand thru your hair and when ready to go home...give her a big hug and scream into the sea she is the best mum.

I think you are talking about those white tubes of decorative frosting in the baking goods isle?...If that is the case, they sell attachments...On the back of the package they tell you what you can make with each frosting tip...The flowers are really easy.

are you talking about Fondant? you can only really make cut outs from that... I would use gum paste for flowers, they hold up better. You have to get Fondant really thing to do flowers, the problem is it dries really fast.

First of all, if you%26#039;re paying $100 for carnations, you%26#039;re being ripped off! For that price, you should be able to get a nice dozen roses sent to her! I don%26#039;t know the girl that you%26#039;re talking about, but I always liked roses (it doesn%26#039;t have to be a dozen--just nicely arranged.) Chocolates are even better though, along with a cute card that will make me smile. I had a boyfriend that sent me a teddy bear for my birthday, which was really cute--I kept the teddy bear longer than the boyfriend though! Jewelry is a little too much unless you%26#039;re already going out. Think about what SHE likes and make the gift personal. If you%26#039;re still interested in this girl, then you want to try thinking about what she would want and how to make her feel special. Don%26#039;t spend a fortune on her, but instead just focus on making her feel like she%26#039;s lucky.

How about something simple. Maybe a single red rose with a note attached that tells her how feel even after all this time? Or if you want to give more (though sometimes simple is more romantic), a dozen roses (red for love / pink for I really like you) with a letter.

And if you were really set on jewelry, a nice necklace (but not this plus roses...that might be getting too much yet).

It also depends how picky your grandfather is. SO--- it can be done but it might be tricky to get the right look.

All the girls that I went to high school with loved getting flowers. I wouldn%26#039;t make it to big of a bunch though because they can be cumbersome carrying them around or to fit into a locker or on the bus. If you want to save them though for a more special occation, like after dating for a year or so...I would say go with Lilies or daiseys for now. Also you can always ask the florist...they know all there is to know about this subject haha.

Oh also get a different colored rose...like yellow, pink, or orange etc. Those work too...they are a good gesture without going overboard.

The reason i have done this is to hopefully make him realize that is what i would want ( mainly goes unnoticed lol ) but i than get to enjoy the flowers anyway. They maybe be uncomfortable with it at first, but they realize she thought of them and went out of her way to do something.
