Teens...girls..I want to send my daughter flowers at school on her birthday...?
All the girls that I went to high school with loved getting flowers. I wouldn%26#039;t make it to big of a bunch though because they can be cumbersome carrying them around or to fit into a locker or on the bus. I shouldn%26#039;t think that there would be a problem with a balloon if the flowers are in a vase as the string can be wrapped around low on the vase so that they aren%26#039;t in the way. Also, I would stay away from red roses, she may be teased about a secret boyfriend but there are several other flowers that you could choose to send that I am sure she would love. Happy birthday to your daughter, what a good mom you are to think of her feelings before rather then after the fact.
Reply:Lots of people in both middle school and highschool recieved things like flowers and presents at school from their parents when I was still in school(only a couple years ago). Mostly they wanted to show off what they got, none were actually embarrassed. Most of the time they were allowed to carry them around all and get attention from other students. Many people would tell them they wish they could have that done.
Reply:it seems like you have a pretty cool relationship and she doesn%26#039;t feel embarressed by you, so yeah. i would!
Reply:I loved it when my mom sent me flowers on my bday, but my mom and I are really close. It depends on how close you are. I mean if your daughter won%26#039;t go to the grocery store with you because it%26#039;s embarrassing, then I wouldn%26#039;t send flowers.
Reply:MOst schools wont allow it, call first
Reply:You%26#039;re really the only one who will be able to determine whether that action would embarrass her, as you are the one who is most familiar with her personality.

My daughter is 12 and she LOVES it when I send her flowers to school. It makes her feel very special.

I always send pink roses instead of red though. She loves pink, and the one time I sent her red, all of the boys joked w/her that they were %26quot;boyfriend%26quot; flowers.lol

And don%26#039;t send like a whole florists shop...just a simple 1/2 doz or so (either in a bud vase or wrapped....wrapped are easier for them to carry home from school.) And no balloons! Very cumbersome and draws alot of attention!

Happy Birthday to your daughter!
Reply:I would be embarressed.. why don%26#039;t you have them waiting for her before she leaves for school or when she gets home..
Reply:I think it%26#039;s a great idea and don%26#039;t worry about embarassing her, she soundsl ike the kind of girl that isn%26#039;t easily embarassed by her mom. And she might be bashful and blushing when she gets them but I think she%26#039;d really like that. That%26#039;s a cute idea.
Reply:don%26#039;t do it she may be like a best friend now but soon the evil little brat will change and act all funny; but if you have a close relationship with her just do it privately after school
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t be embarrased at all, I%26#039;d feel special :)
Reply:i would be embarrassed! let her future bf take care of dat....plz!
Reply:I%26#039;m 14 and would feel VERY embarrassed if my parents sent me flowers for my birthday. It depends, really. If I were you, I%26#039;d give her the flowers once she got home from school. It%26#039;s your choice.
Reply:I wouldn%26#039;t do it. She%26#039;ll probably feel embarrassed.
Reply:Well if she%26#039;s embrassed let her be....I wish I had that fo rmy 13 b-day... Anyways she going to me embrassed but she still thank you
Reply:Go ahead. My dad would send me flowers for my birthday every year. He would send them from a secret admirer. I knew who they were from but it was still fun.
Reply:I say go for it. Good luck!
Reply:question does she go from class room to class room, it may be hard to do with flowers and books. Have the flowers waiting for her at home
Reply:i think that is a cool idea if she%26#039;s comfortable around you. Usually at my skool wen its our birthday we juss carry around a bunch of ballons and stuff. i wish i could have got flowers. so i say u should do it!
Reply:I don%26#039;t see the point of sending them. She will just have to leave them in the office the whole day and then schlep them home.
Reply:at 13 i would say she would be kinda embarrassed, depends what kind of character she has. but if u want to u can, Ur choice
Reply:Awww, I%26#039;d have loved for my mom to do that for me. I don%26#039;t think she%26#039;d be embarassed the way you%26#039;ve described her. Go for it.
Reply:i would be embarrassed but if your daughter is OK with it, then go for it
Reply:Well im 13 and I dont really know if I would be embarrassed or not. Like if my mom actually came in the school and hand delivered them I would be embarrased. But if you just drop them off in the office and tell her to come get them. Its not that bad. Like she could just put them in her locker the rest of the day and get an added bonus. The flowers would make her locker smell better!
Reply:I think that is really sweet of you, and she will probably appreciate it. You should definitely do it.
Reply:Give them to her when you pick her up or when she gets off the busI%26#039;d prefer my mom do that.By the way,you sound like a really great mom.
